The First Tee of Columbia Summer Golf and Life Skills Program

We are pleased to announce the beginning of registration for our Summer Golf and Life Skills Program. This is a worldwide program that covers young people from ages 5-7 (Target) and 8-18 (Par thru Ace Level). This is a curriculum based program with books for each level for each participant. Our objective is for young people to learn life skills and golf while having fun.

 

WHAT: The First Tee of Columbia Summer Golf Program

WHEN: June 9, 2008 ---August 8, 2008

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday

1530 (3:30pm) to 1830 (6:30pm)

WHERE: Jame E. Clyburn Golf Center, Junior Golfland at Riverside, and Linrick Golf

Course

REGISTRATION: Begins May 1, 2008---Ends May 24, 2008 or when a maximum of forty

(40) participants have been signed up, whichever comes first.

 

SUMMER PROGRAM FEE: The fee will be $50.00 per young person . Checks will be

made payable to “The First Tee of Columbia”.

Scholarships will be considered on a case by case basis.

 

GOLF FACILITY RULES: Cell phones, electronic games or other valuable property is not allowed at the facility for security reasons. The facility will not be responsible for or have the time to stop training and look for things that do not relate to First Tee Training.

Signs will be posted with facility rules on standards of dress and conduct.

Please read the Application/Participant Permission Form before signing it. The First Tee 2008 Parent’s Guide, the 2007 Annual Review, and the magazine “More Than A Game”.

Each participant will receive the appropriate level book. We will work from that book always.
